Every city has two versions of itself: the one it shows visitors in the first three days, and the one that emerges around day ten, when you have a regular coffee place and the barista stops giving you the tourist menu.
The three-day city
The first version is real, but it’s a performance. Write about what changed for you when you stayed longer.
The day-ten city
This is where the recipes, the photographs, and half the music comes from.
